Wade... the old style and new style will exchange perfectly as long as you use new style fingerbuttons with new style caps. The threads are the same. The height where the underside of the fingerbutton contacts the cap is the same.

I routinely put new caps and buttons on old horns with zero modifications.

No picture but:
Larger new style King finger buttons will not fit the older King top caps unless you machine off that external edge of the top caps.
Older style finger buttons (smaller and used to have pearl but no longer) will not work on the new King 2341 top caps as the center raised section of the cap is a bigger diameter than the smaller finger buttons.
Hope this helps you.

Buy them directly off the Conn-Selmer parts website. They don't have very good images but the ones you want are for the new 2341. Just buy the caps and fingerbuttons together and you'll have it made. Fairly inexpensive, too.

Here is the link to parts for Conn Selmer.

This next statement is for everyone who wants parts help. When you want a repair shop to help you with parts, you'll be treated better if you are very clear and concise about what part you need and what finish you need it in. A repairman spending 30 minutes finding and ordering a $10 part for someone with a $2-5 profit, plus cost of running your credit card, plus time spent packing it up, plus the accounting department comparing packing lists against the invoice for the parts to make sure we are not overcharged, etc...costs us money versus spending the time at shop rate digging out of the backlog of repair work.
If communicating by email, please include:
Your Name
Your Address
Your Phone number
Description of part you are looking for (pictures can help)
Make
Model
Serial Number helps (especially with Yamaha)
