Anachronism supreme

Post by 1895King »

On Monday, June 11, I was watching an old episode of Bonanza set in 1859 (Yes, 1859). A friend of Hoss' was going on a short trip and he left his dog with Hoss; he told Hoss that the dog slept better if he heard some low notes just before bedtime. The next thing I knew, it showed Hoss playing a raincatcher.

Anachronism in Back to the Future III, there is a sousaphone being played when the new clock tower is being commissioned. The time is 1885, the sousaphone wasn't invented until 1893.
