I swung by Dillon Music today, to catch up with Steve Dillon, who shares a passion for American band history, and to check out a wonderful old Conn raincatcher that is currently hanging in the store. Matt Walters pulled it down for me, and I spent some time checking it out - and playing it.
Here's a link to my blog, where I've posted numerous photos of this great old horn: http://tubapastor.blogspot.com/2017/06/ ... nster.html
If you have any additional information about this Sousaphone, share it here, or in the comments section at my blog. I'd love to learn more about this vintage instrument!
