I originally got it to look through my pipes in my house but wound up using it to check out the valve alignment on my tuba. This one is the larger 7mm camera, but it came with the mirror so it worked great. I was able to use my iPad to view it and it allows you to record too.
I wound up getting a fish tape to connect to it for my pipes, but almost regret getting such a long cable (10m).
Pretty amazing how affordable they have become! The model I got says it is only 2 megapixels, but I found it to be clear and focused when it was about 1cm away.

If that thing on the end is 7.5mm wide, it would be near two inches in length? Can you get it through tubing bends?

The last one I bought was a ridiculously cheap outfit from some ad on facebook $9.95 IIRC.

Features:
Brightness control.
Over 10' of cable between control module and camera.
90degree mirror and spring/hook attachment.
Smartphone app.
Micro USB to standard USB adapter.

The main reason I bit on the ad was the smartphone capability but the app is sort of flakey (goes dark arbitrarily).

The camera is 7.2mm in diameter and 35mm (1.4") long. The one drawback is that the cable is a 3/32" diameter electrical cable so it's a bit floppy for snaking through a tuba.

It will go through all of the bends in both of my new F helicons. The outlet side of the 4th valve on the 4/4 model took some weaseling but worked. The Kaiser is 20.2mm bore; the 4/4 18mm.

Thanks for the video. I have to have one of these! Great tool. I wonder if "solder blobs" are as much of a problem in tubas as they are in trumpets. Something like this is great to look for them, too.
