Marcus Bonna Euphonium style tuba case?

Post by DouglasJB »

A close frind of mine has an Adams Euphonium and it has a Marcus Bonna case with it. Is there a company that designs a case of similar design in a tuba size? I would love to find something of that design for an F tuba.

I've owned multiple Marcus Bonna trombone cases and they are all superb, very high quality materials and workmanship. I wish they made a tuba case using similar materials, but the cost would likely be very high. I've not found any manufacturer (yet) that makes a tuba case comparable to MB hard cases.

I'm also a big fan of Cronkhite cases. With the relaunch of Cronkhite gig bags, I'll likely go with that in the future if their build quality and workmanship is maintained. The Cronkhite leather gig bags add some increased rigidity compared to Cordura and are very protective.

Tuba Joe uses an Accord Case: http://www.accordcase.com/wind--tuba-cases. It is a lightweight carbon fiber case. It might be similar to what you are looking for.
