Look closer. Everything is behind the valves.

I've played that horn...you STILL have to use 3,5,7,10,15,and 43 just to get the B-flat in tune!

Tony, you're confused. I'm the only person (out of the factory) to play this horn. You may be thinking of Cerveny's first one like this....the 41 valve. It did play a bit out of tune but this one corrected all the problems....AND...I understand that on the new ones they will be adding multiple thumb rings.

It must be difficult to decide whether to arrange the valves like an accordeon's left hand board or a multimanual organ... :lol:

This design is brilliant!

However I wouldn't have chosen a Cerveny as the basis for that perfect tuba.

I would go for a Yamaha with a detachable piston section!

All of these cylinders then could double as speed enhancers on another Yamaha product: one of their motorbikes.
