Conn 52J here. Had it for three years and I am still in love with it. But, I will love it even more once Matt W. up in Jersey can get his hands on it. Only wish I could have gotten the satin brass or satin silver. But, it is a great horn none the less. Works well in quintet, quartet and in large ensembles with the right mouthpieces.

King 2341
newer King 2341 here, love it.......had to have the valves lathed a year ago.....but amazingly consistant since. the least stuffy horn i've ever played, solid low and high. bought it from David Fedderly at Baltimore Brass, would highly reccomend them.

I have an two Reynolds Contempora Sousaphones, and an Olds euphonium. All are US made. I have a "Bandeal" Eb tennor that is from Elkheart IN. I have one non-US horn that I had never heard of, a "Lyons Monarch", made in "Western Germany". Anyone ever heard of that one.

Hmmm.... King, Conn, Holton, Martin, et al = Conn/Selmer (Steinway). What difference does it make these days.
