I am looking for motivated private students for the summer.
Since my summer program was cut by the board of ed, I have lots of time available.
I am a NJ certified public school teacher and professional tubist.
I hold a Bachelors degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Masters Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory.
I have studied with Don Butterfied, Toby Hanks, Floyd Cooley and Scott Mendoker.
Currently, I hold the position of principal tuba with the Garden State Philharmonic and Polished Brasss quintet, among other freelance gigs.

I can definitely vouch for Frank's teaching ability. I started studying with him at the beginning of my senior year of high school and he had me ready for college auditions and region/all state within months. He has a way, as do all good teachers, of bringing out the best in someone's playing. He's a great teacher and great guy. Go study with him if you're around.
