The attachment ring on my VMI/B & S GDR stencil is missing so I use a luggage strap wrapped around the bottom bow a couple of times with the hooks terminating where they hook to the MW harness. Works good!
(FYI... my lower loop broke some time back and I'm just to darned busy fixing stuff for other folks that I have been able to get to it. In the meantime, the luggage strap works fine.)
