Looks like a plain old 6-valve F tuba to me. The rotors are single units, so it's not even a "double" tuba.

Ugh.

Really, I think it's shameful that these fools are able to get a hold of a musical instrument in the first place -- or that they pretend that they've got one.

But, I thought the "all things to all men" comment was pretty funny!

I may be wrong and apologize if I am but this looks leery.
He's been selling for quite awhile, and while he deals mostly in WWII memorabilia, he has sold a few musical instruments. There don't seem to be any recent gaps in his activity, so he's probably not had his ID hijacked.

I think that the Western Union deal is primarily because he's located in Bulgaria. Shipping a tuba from there and leaving the outcome to the guy's sense of how to pack an instrument isn't a gamble I'd want to take, however.

Having made the mistake of dealing with him myself, I completely agree!

By the time I tried to give him negative feedback, he closed up shop, and opened under his present name.

Oh well, I'm a little sadder, but wiser.
