Where to get a good lacquer job done?

I have a King sousaphone that is of great sentimental value to me, and I would like to have it restored.

I have had the horn pretty much de-dented, but I would also like to have it re-lacquered. The horn originally had the King, deep "gold" colored lacquer on it. I would really like to restore the lacquer on the horn, using the original gold color lacquer. I think that some repair places would prefer to not get involved with such an involved process.

Does anyone know of somebody in the general New York City area, that does a great lacquer job? I would be willing to drive a bit, if need be, to have it done.

Thanks!

My recommendation would be to talk to Matt Walters at Dillon's in Woodbridge, NJ. If he can't do it, then he likely can tell you where to go. 8)
