There's this ebay listing for what looks like a Mirafone 186 but is stamped "Mirafona".

Anybody ever seen that? Can't seem to find a reference on "Mirafona"

I heard back from Miraphone... They have never seen this before either, and it was so long ago, there are no records of it. Their best guess was that this is a typo.bort wrote:I emailed Miraphone to ask them. Will let you know if I hear back from them!
Possibly Herr Theinert would know something about it... If someone were truly persistent about knowing the true answer. BTW, what is Theinert up to these days in his new role?
