To bring Bloke's past into modern terms, he was a bit of a hustler. I give him points for creativity. I'm sure the current smoke free folks would find his behavior deplorable, but that is now and this was then. I'm glad all his tubas are in wonderful shape, so are mine. I do play for paying gigs, but mine are not as lucrative as his. Most of the time I play for old people to make them happy. Then again, I'm retired with a pension, so I can afford to be more generous.

Ship it to a school across the country with UPS for a year and then have them ship it back via air mail

- I show up for a gig in nice clean clothes.
- I arrive back home without having even perspired, and hang 'em back up.
Unfortunately my generously portioned sized doesn't allow me the luxury of wearing a tuxedo without perspiring and thus requiring a visit to the local dry-cleaners. Don't gloat, Bloke. It... you know what, nevermind, I'm not gonna win this. ;) :-D
