21J in a large ProTec (C241) bag?

Okay I know the answer to this is no.
But what I'm looking for is:
can you put this instrument with a 24-inch upright bell in a bag designed for a 22-inch Bell and get the zipper somewhere over half closed?

I'm looking to just use the side/suitcase handles and have bell and body assembled in one case versus schlepping around the 2 hard cases.

I realize the protection value will be diminished, but I'm a very careful, defensive tuba carrier in an adult ensemble.

PS I'm aware Altieri can make a bag for this horn, but I hate top-loaders, and the hate increases exponentially the larger the horn gets.
