Replacement

Post by Jim Brewer »

Monday night after rehearsal a jerk with a blood alcohol level of .23 blew through a red light and totaled my truck, bad thing is my horn is still in the rear seat. Going today to pick it up today, but even in the Gard bag it didn't look right. ( of course nothing really looked clear right after the wreck. I may need a replacement for my MWCC. I love the sound of the MW but may have to go a different route. Any suggestion on horns to try will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Just got a good look at my horn. The bell is bent at the rim, something is twisted and the brace from the bell to the 1st valve is in a bind ( bell pushed in the brace ). The bell joint/tenon is pulled loose, one side is even and still in the original place, on the other side it's out appproximately 1/4 inch. Dent on top now under the guard wire. The Gard bag did its stuff.
