Just picked up a new horn from a client that comes into my shop. I have never seen this configuration of Euphonium before. I contacted another collector friend who managed to pull a catalog image for me. Thought I would share!

How do you hold it or play the 4th valve?

Like a four piston horn.
Only you can set the height of the fourth valve to suit you little finger...

Some of the American civil war euphonium are configured like that - neat!
