I would like to hear from anyone who owns any of the Tempest Agility tuba models.

I agree that they are over priced and do not respond to emails.

I have had a Tempest salesman tell me to my face that their tubas are made in Germany. I have no evidence for or against this but the general consensus seems to be that they are not.

Overpriced garbage. Go for Mack Brass or Wessex.

Nor does anyone have a video of one being played in a quintet.

I own one. The 3/4 marching tuba.

It's just a Jinbao, but was more than 2x the price ($2600 currently) of a Schiller model ($997, same tuba). I emailed them multiple times about questions, but was never contacted again. Complete scam...

The finish wears away fast and is paper thin. So is the metal. It plays extremely sharp, even with the main AND fine tuning slides out all the way. It's really loud, slotting is good, and the valves are actually really good, but at the end of the day, it's a tuba-shaped-object. The projection is very directional, so even if you're only a few meters off where it's pointing, the volume is like half as loud. That's a common quality of these horns, but it's just magnified in this one. The tone is terrible. It dents like crazy. The plating is bad. I can't find a use for it besides maybe visual auditions for band/drum corps

I used in a DCI soundsport group for one season. It's fine for a fun tuba (think pep bands and annoying your director), but not something for ANY serious playing. Going to try and sell it soon, but I doubt I'll find a buyer.
