I tried one recently at a conference and it was miles beyond any Yorkbrunner I've ever played. Incredibly nimble and didn't seem to have the tuning quirks common with York copies. If I wasn't already set on gear I'd give it strong consideration.

Hands down the best 2 tubas I've ever played! Love both the Adams 6/4 CC and Solo F tuba (with the European bell, meaning thinner.) Been traveling all over the country and world with them - sound, power, intonation, and blend is beautiful! Maximum efficiency with the least amount of effort! Rawtuba

I've tried several at various conferences and was not impressed. Didn't come close to my Nirschl York.

I agree that this horn was much better than the HB-50 I tried side by side to it, I'd definitely take it over a Baer as well. I think that should speak for itself, also if you can, try the Adams F tuba, fraking amazing F tuba.
