Working @ Work

The circumstances of my day job are such that I can't practice my tuba while on the job. I know--sucks, right?

I'm thinking that doesn't necessarily mean I can't be improving my tuba playing on the job. I've seen quite a few options for breath-building devices and other such things. Do any of you recommend any of these items/systems as something that I could pick up for ten minutes here and there--without making too much noise--that might actually help me?

Thanks.

I've gotten some good results with PowerLung. It's essentially a resistance training tool for your lungs. You do it twice a day for five minutes each session. You might also consider purchasing a Warburton P.E.T.E. and a finger strengthener, which you can use to run scales, difficult passages you're working on, etc.
