If you want a horn that can easily put the bottom on your orchestra or band, and is truly fun to play... Get thee one of these...

If the advertised dimensions are accurate, bore, weight and over all size, these are different tubas.
How do you pronounce Thomann?

Toe - mahn ("mahn" rhymes with "bahn")
Has to be a Chinese tuba at that price, right?

Yes, definitely Chinese. Very solid and killer sound throughout.

The option to translate should pop up if you aren't a Spanish speaker.

Ordered a German-made horn through them last year. Communication with them can be a bit of a chore as I did it all through email. Ended up having to purchase a Jakob Winter case for them to ship the horn in (I know), paid the commercial shipping cost, and paid the import tax when I picked it up directly from customs at JFK in New York City. All in all I still paid less than what it would cost than to just buy it in the US, but it was a hassle. Horn was well-packed with precautions packed onto the shipping box so nothing would get stacked on it in transit. Instrument arrived without a single blemish [they know what they're doing there].

It sure helps that you could pick it up at its first entry to the US at JFK... Before anyone here could screw it up!
