Seeking Wisemann piston guides

Post by Ferguson »

Are Wisemann piston guides the same size as another brand (that may be more commonly found)? Does anyone stock these in the US? Mack?

Tom at Mack is a really nice guy, and a subject matter expert. An email or phone call to him would clear this up really quickly for you.

They will work but you have to elongate the hole for the valve stem slightly. A small round file or a dremel tool does a nice job.

Religion, I'm told, is not to be discussed here..not even Church of Progress catechism or sacraments.
Oh, I wouldn't know.
Seems like some people though would use their authority as a highly skilled repair-man/tuba-player to front whatever claims they'd like
