Don't have that one but do have a "Friesenlied" that's pretty good.

The cue for saxofoon might indicate that this is a Dutch edition.

This song
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flieger,_ ... _die_Sonne might be interesting to look at, too. That´s the first one that Comes to MY mind when reading "Fliegerlied".
Better Music
Better lyrics
More interesting Background Information available
Interesting history: came out in 1932, sung by Hans Albers, the prototype of pre-WW2 blond, blue-eyed German UFA-movie hero.
Enjoyed a revival in the eighties when it became popular in a Punk-Rock Version by Extrabreit, which I personally enjoy even more than the original version. Just look them up on Youtube, You´ll get what i mean.
Composer Allan Grey also wrote the music for movie "African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn

If you've got a keyboard to bang around on, it probably wouldn't be difficult to just copy out the notes from this Youtube video. The chord changes couldn't be more simple, right?

My German Band has an arrangement for full band. I don't know if there is a piano score/reduction, but I can ask. Send me an email at
