I was hoping someone could identify the gear. Nice BAT and interesting looking mouthpiece.

the mouthpiece looks like one of those old King mouthpieces... 26, 24?... I don't remember the exact number, very similar to the Bach 24 AW, a sousaphone mouthpiece for marching. fat rim with a big bowl....

The camera angle through the opening of this song shows an empty chair next to the leftmost trombone player. On a stand there is an instrument looking like a single valve bass trombone. Did Richard Maloof also play that instrument?

ref: another thread...

We were throwing together a pops concert in two rehearsals this last weekend...
I honestly don't remember the particulars of the nonsense banter, but the music director said something about me buying him (or everyone...?? one or the other) a beer.
I informed him and the orchestra, "It's October: You programmed ~no~ polkas; Joe buys ~no~ beers."

(I had to choose between two Oktoberfest jobs on Saturday, and playing this concert.)
