M&M BBb Symphony Model Questions

Post by tylerferris1213 »

Hello everyone! I tried searching through the forum, but I only saw a short thread from 2007. What can you guys tell me about these horns now that they've been out for awhile? A good friend of mine bought one 4 years ago. He lent it to a friend, and just remembered he never got it back. Long story short, the horn has been sitting in storage for over 3 years.

From what I have gathered so far, they are not very good horns. Are there any good tricks to making them sound better, or should it stay in storage? Mouthpiece suggestions? Any information on what he can do with it is appreciated!

Appears to be a Chinese stencil of the B&S, VMI, etc., 101. Tom sells them and found a couple of cuts improves them. Maybe start there

Not on that one. I only owned the M & M 1291 copy for a while.
