VMI 2103 info request

Does anyone have an accurate source for the weight of a VMI 2103 in lacquer?
I've searched the archives here w/o success. On the B&S website, the specs for the PT-1 AKA 3103 (NOT 3301) do not include the weight, which may be higher than a 2103 because the PT-1 has a larger bell. There is no listing for the 2103 or its European label the 103 on the web-site.
I know that the 2103 is, or was, aold as the F.Schmidt 2103. the BM website gives a weight of 17 pounds. I talked to another retailer who told me that he thought the 2103 weighed about 22 pounds.
So - Does anyone really know how much it weighs? And, if so, what is the basis for your answer?
I am seriously considering a purchase of this horn. It seems to get very favorable comments from folks on this site, at least for a non CC horn. My teacher recently bought a Jupiter 582 which I have held and have heard him play. I thought that it sounded pretty good but Rich could make a fuel funnel sound good. It is quite heavy though and is a piston horn. I think a rotary would work better for me. Moreover, the bore size seems better for a guy my age, and - the price is right.
As always, all replies appreciated.
