Odd sized horn gig bag suggestions

Post by DouglasJB »

I am looking to try to find a gig bag for my Eb when it is complete, the dimensions are...

33 inches tall
17 inch bell
17 inches across body center
13 inches deep
20 inches from bottom bow to receiver
5.5 inches from bell rim to top bow

I am looking for a side loading bag, any suggestions? Feel free to provide ideas on all price ranges

There have been a few reports on custom bags from these folks. They seem pretty solid based on what I've read:

The Darling Of The Thirty-Cents-Sharp Low D♭'s.

I second Messina Covers, they're building a side loader for my 1913 York Eb/CC frankenhelicon. Great people, who are also pro musicians too, that put out a quality, great looking product.

I may still have a new old stock custom Cronkhite in close to the right size for sale. It's the Nirschl Cooley York pattern except it's 3" shorter.

Take a look at Wessex. Many sizes to choose from.
