I have seen these tuba stands in a few photos and videos. Does anyone know who makes them or where they are sold?

I googled "tuba stand" and it showed up in Google Images:

Seems incredibly pricey, though I can't find it anywhere else.

And it weighs almost as much as the tuba itself. I like the look of it, but really expensive and very heavy to lug around.

Yeah. I think this is a stand where the orchestra buys it for you and keeps it at the hall.

Everything from Kolberg is like that...expensive.

They have some incredible products though, items available nowhere else, and their offerings are extensive.

I have a hard copy of their most recent catalog at work. There are 28 pages of just music stands, to give you an idea of what sheer range they offer. There is a version for nearly every imaginable situation.

Their percussion range is impressive as well.

A used tuba tamer can be had for around $100 or so. Oldie but goodie.
