Schlipf mute - wow!

Post by jimgray »

Hi all-

I recently acquired a Schlipf euphonium travel/practice mute, and wanted to call it out as EXCELLENT.
Travels entirely in the bell, but expands upon arrival (flip-top/magnets) and works great.
Not stuffy, great intonation, very light/durable, etc.

I got mine from Lee Stofer, who's also a great guy to work with.

Very pleased-

I bought a Schlipf mute from Lee Stofer a few years back, and it was a fantastic investment. It allows me to practice in my apartment without disturbing roommates or neighbors. I plan on buying one in the near future for my bass tuba as well.
