BMB F Tuba Serial Number
I'm looking for the serial number on my BMB J-445 F tuba. Do any of you who own one know where that is located on these instruments? Thanks!

Re: BMB F Tuba Serial Number
Not the same instrument, but the serial on my BMB 6/4 CC is on one of the valve casings (don't know which one off the top of my head).
Let me know if you need Mr. Barth's email address, he usually can help.

The serial number is on the first valve casing...and there is also a number on the new ones on the receiver too....

Re: BMB F Tuba Serial Number
Yes, on the 1st valve casing near the bottom and sort of behind the 5th valve. Hard to read.

Re: BMB F Tuba Serial Number
I looked again and I can't find it. Actually, mine is a Gemeinhart tuba (before BMB.) Maybe they didn't have serial numbers on those. Probably not many made before Dick moved the production to China with BMB. Wuddeva. Maybe I'll email Dick about it.
Thanks anyway, guys.
