New evidence for the very first Sousaphone!

Hi all - I stumbled upon another rare reference to the very first Sousaphone. You can read about it here: http://tubapastor.blogspot.com/2017/12/ ... first.html
For some, yes, but up until a few years ago, there was no conclusive evidence from the time the first Sousaphone was made. And so the debate has continued - and it still continues, as you can see here, https://www.cgconnhorns.com/ where Conn still claims to have built the very first Sousaphone! That's why I keep posting what I find.bloke wrote:I'm not any sort of aficionado on sousaphones, but I've thought for a long time that "Pepper having made the first one and having coined the name" was (a term some migrate towards) "settled science".
