Printing to a PDF is your best option for having others read your music. If you can print and install print drivers, you can usually get any program to produce a PDF file.
If you want other to be able to import your music into their program, you'll get the most portability saving it as a midi file. You'll loose a lot, but its the only thing I can think of that most programs will import.
