Hey TubeNet,
It's been way too long since the last Los Angeles Tuba Party, so let's try and get another one together this summer. Last time we had something like 10 players there and I think over 30 horns. Let's see if we can at least match the results, hopefully pass them up by far.
Lemme know if you might be interested in doing something, when you'd be available, and what horns you can bring if you do come. Last time we had it at Biola University, which is 20-30 mins south of Downtown LA and has a very tuba-friendly recital hall. I'd like to do it there again unless someone else has a better suggestion.

Thanks!

btw, here are the results of the last tuba party:
http://www.chisham.com/tips/bbs/jul2002 ... 00180.html
29 tubas, two euphoniums, a contrabass trombone, a cimbasso, an alto horn, mutes, bags, mouthpieces, eight tubists, two kids and a lovely wife.
We all played different horns for a while, then we played tuba ensemble stuff, we compared the big CC's, and then I had to leave but some people stayed behind so I'll let them tell you what else happened.
