Hi everyone,
First off, I love my PT-6 and have no intentions of parting with it any time soon. However, I have one simple complaint with the horn. You have to reach above the top bow to reach the first valve slide. Out of curiosity though, I flipped the 5th valve, and I found I could reach trough the horn instead to reach the first valve slide. However, it won’t go in nearly as far as I would need it to since the slide itself bumps into the rotor cap.
Has anyone ever altered their fifth valve slide so that you can reach through the horn? Just curious!

I haven't played the horn since the work, but have been told it also was more open in the low 5th valve register.
