Has anyone with a large bore mp receiver on a compensating euphonium changed to a small bore receiver? What pluses and minuses resulted from the change? Did you stay with the small bore or go back? Thanks

I went the other way on a YEP-321 and put a med. / Euro receiver on it from the small shank to allow for a larger mouthpiece. They do make adapters to put a small shank MP into a large receiver horn. I would try the adapter first, before you swap out the receiver to hear what the horn sounds like with it and the desired MP. It probably won't blow exactly like replacing the receiver but it should be a pretty close representation.
