met Bob Tucci at the Army conference

Postby bloke » Tue Feb 06, 2018 11:23 am

I finally met this man.
He's very clever, very funny, and we share world views.
(OK...Maybe - since we share world views - that's why I judge him to be clever  )...
nah...He's extremely clever. He's also very clever in the way that he has marketed his products.
I believe we're friends. I'm lucky to have met him. :tuba:

The Bloke and Bob at the Army Band Workshop

Postby Robert Tucci » Wed Feb 07, 2018 7:16 am

Just returned from another great event: the U.S. Army Band Tuba and Euphonium Workshop at FT. Myer. The quality and level of the recitals and evening concerts was absolutely superb.

AND: I finally met the Bloke! He is really a nice felllow: friendly, cheery and working hard to provide his contributions to our world of music. It is always good to make the aquaintance of such interesting personalities.

My congratulations to the Army Band staff; the workshop was very well organized, run in an efficient manner and beneficial even to experienced musicians such as the Bloke an me.

As for me being clever, the secret is to get up early and work hard every day!

I could say, "You can say that again", but - with me typing it in quotes - and quoting you as well, that sort-of means that you've said it multiple times...yes...??
