Question... if you know the answer... how does the 496 compare (in size of sound) to the Bruckner or 191? The 496 looks awesome... but I haven't played one yet. Played lots of Bruckners and 188s... but no Hagens.
Curious if you can compare them at all. Thanks!

I must be getting old Not one of the big horns had a bottom that barked. They all felt stuffy and like part of other horns. The Eastman played in tune yes. But I stood there and listend to several players play them and without execption the horns fuzzed out downstairs.
I could never play any of them in a real life situation.
