Unidentified Willson horn

Post by jmviehmann »

I recently acquired a Willson tuba (maybe a large euph) and have no idea what the model is of this horn. I was wondering if anyone here had any idea what model this horn is and how much it might be worth. The serial number on this horn is 7440 if that helps. Here are the pictures it has a plastic bell on it so it looks a bit weird Willson Tuba https://imgur.com/gallery/u4XFw" target="_blank.

I've had a couple of those horns and have built bells for them. Trust me on this.... a metal bell won't make the horn play any better.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.
