True North Brass

Just wanted to let everyone know about our new brass quintet initiative. After 20 years, with the original membership, we are relaunching the Canadian brass quintet, the True North Brass with all new members.
The new members are Stéphane Beaulac of the Orchestre Métropolitain (formerly of the LA Phil), Karen Donnelly of the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Julie Fauteux of the National Arts Centre Orchestra, David Pell of the National Ballet of Canada, and myself.
Predictably, our biggest challenge is scheduling, but we have managed to make our demo recordings, which can be heard here: http://truenorthbrass.com/media/" target="_blank The tracks of Fire Dance and Morning Song are the new group.
More information can be found at our website at http://www.truenorthbrass.com" target="_blank, and I will try to post here as we have more news. Thanks for listening.
