Someone wrote this arpeggio sequence out for me some time ago to use as a warm-up routine. Does anyone know where it's from? Also, I heard someone doing further extensions of the sequence, and was hoping to find out about that too.
Thanx!!

Is that a Jacobs drill?

it's a Marstellar routine that can currently be found in various forms in Roger Bobo's "Mastering the Tuba". It can be played using any two adjoining fingerings. Try starting on low Db using all five valves, with D (1-4) as the second bar. Good for focusing in the attacks (slurred or tongued) on the upper notes while blowing through lots of tubing.

Thanx for the info. Might anyone know the three note groups in the extension that goes up above the staff?
