So my school submitted to the Midwest convention.
I'm excited/scared at the same time.
If we get into the top 4 submitions, we will be able to travel to chicago.

Hey! Glad to hear your band submitted an application to this. Midwest is a huge deal. I am honored to say our band performed at the Midwest convention last year! It was THE best experience I have ever had in my life. Best musical experience, and just best experience to have as a young person
Our jazz band will be playing and going there next year as well! Midwest is great for young musicians to explore not only the convention and see things in music they never have before. But play a crazy good, long, hard-worked program for A LOT of educators and top world-class performers. Best of luck! I hope you guys get accepted.
