Just found this video, and I found my idol

How do I get a sound like him? Its very broad yet not rough at all.
Help would be appreciated!
Thanks

It starts with "P" and that isn't for pool, or wasting time playing around here.

I know that Practicing is the best way to get anything done on everything, and I agree. However, some people might have tips on practicing better, and as a relatively new tuba player (2 yrs), I would like to know tips from more experienced people than me.

Get a private teacher, if you don't already have one. I cannot stress that enough. When I first got a teacher (I think my first year of high school) he motivated me to become a better player. Having stuff to practice made me want to practice.
