Hi, i want to ask about my level cause there are no many serious young players here in israel.

Is it a good level for a 17 years old player who playes 7 years to play Pandercski Capriccio, Vaughn Williams Concerto, Hindemith Sonate and Carnival of Venice.

Is it good level ?
if not what are your recommendations to getting better and what pieces should i start working on this age ?

Quite an intrepid undertaking for such a young person. The question is not can you play these pieces, but can you convey the music inherent in them. Have you covered other significant repetoire with a high degree of MUSICAL success. If you can honestly answer "Yes" then go for it. I am constantly amazed by the PLAYING level of teenagers, but I have heard only one or two (Carol Jantsch comes to mind) that have been able to perform these pieces as a total package. Don't take this as a slight because I am sure you are a fine player, but if the notes don't have meaning, then they are just that, notes. Good Luck.
