B&S 3198 Hard Case

Post by The Brass Gamer »

Hey Y'all! I recently happened upon a B&S 3198 and I am absolutely in love with it. However it only came with the included gig bag. For longer trips and maybe even flights. So I'm looking for a hard case. Does anyone know a good hardcase for the horn? Does anyone own a 3198 and had a hardcase? If so what is it specifically? Lastly, I'm not looking for one of those massive, heavy flight cases that look like a rock stars speaker cases lol.

Thanks for any help,
T.B.G. :tuba:

I know there is an MTS case that can it can fit into. I think it was the 1708V. You will have to remove the small accessory compartment and maybe some other padding to make it fit properly, but it is not a difficult process.

I recently ditched mine at the dump. My Cronkhite bag does the trick for portability. The W900 stock case is huge and heavy and questionably protective.
