A Similar Mouthpiece to a Canadian Brass 83

Post by PlayTheTuba »

Hello TubeNet! I was wondering to see if there is a similar mouthpiece to a Canadian Brass 83 but with a different rim shape and size, preferably in stainless steel. Thanks!

RT-83 or 83+

Post by Robert Tucci »

The Canadian Brass Heritage Series MB-83 has an elegant outside cup design, a thin rim and a large throat. The standard shell PT-83 is now available as an RT-83. The 83+ (heavy shell version) is requested quite often as well. Note that the rim of the RT-83/+, also the shank (large) and backbore is different from the MB-83.

No poke at the bloke....
