Switching rotors?

Lets take a PT-6 for example. Can you take out the rotors, and install new rotors (Miraphones)? What complications would arise?

Also, the shape of Miraphone rotors have changed over the years.

I assumed he meant replacing the entire assembly... I would think that would be an interesting change in feel, but maybe pretty good???

If I were intent upon replacing an entire rotor assembly for the purpose of an upgrade I would purchase the carbon fiber meinlschmidt valves.

My understanding is that their carbon fiber valves are about 3x the cost of the normal valves.
That'd better be a heck of a tuba to make this kind of upgrade, instead of just buying a new tuba.
