I went to Baltimore Brass yesterday (May 12, 2018). In my opinion the tuba that stood out to me was the Rudolph Meinl 3/4.
For me the intonation was excellent. Do not ask about if a partial was ? cents sharp or flat, I could play the tuba in tune the first time I picked it up.
I liked the response (very responsive) and the sound (nicely centered). I played it with a Bach 7, which is the type of mouthpiece that I have used for over 30 years.
I think that someone could use this as a nice all around tuba.

best,
Mark

I've talked to two previous owners of that tuba at length about it... a real head scratcher that it is still available. And, that it didn't sell (for a lower price!) here on Tubenet before getting sent to BBC.

I've heard some CDs on which this tuba was used. Fantastic sound!

Those and the mirafone 184's have fallen out of favor here in the US right now which explains the length of time it takes them to sell now a days.
