Houser Helleberg vs Modified Helleberg Rim
Can anybody explain the differences? I have read that the Modified Helleberg is narrower but on the Houser spec sheet it says the rim width of the Helleberg is 7.11mm and the Modified Helleberg is 7.34mm.

Re: Houser Helleberg vs Modified Helleberg Rim
Is the inner edge the same sharpness on both?bloke wrote:The Helleberg rim is flat...an even-flatter version of the Conn 120 rim.
It is available in three embouchure openings - with the rim width/profile remaining the same.
The Helleberg modified is flat on the inner portion...perhaps 1/8" or so...and then tapers downward and is also thinned.
This one is also available in three embouchure openings - with the rim width/profile remaining the same.
I stock a couple of Houser-design rims, including both of these styles and the 33P.
(Most of the rims that I stock are my own designs.)
