Does anyone know of an online or PDF F tuba fingering chart (flat whole step 5th) besides the one on this site? I'd like to try to find one that extends into the extreme low AND high range. I just started F last week and it's harder to figure out up and down there than I thought. Thanks in advance.

If you belong to ITEA (International Tuba-Euphonium Association) you can use the excellent chart by Skip Gray found on the Pedagogy Class pages. http://www.iteaonline.org/

If you do not belong you might consider it. There are a lot of benefits to belonging including access to some superior information found on that page.

Whatever fingering chart you come up with, I´d still suggest that starting from that you try alternate fingerings with a tuner and somebody listening from a distance as well.
The calculated charts may not be perfect for your particular horn.
Low D on my CC-horn is supposed to be 1-3-4-5 (so I´ve been told). However, the tuner told me it was better to use 2-3-4-5 and do the rest with minor lipping.
