As I was listening to this piece being played by Arnold Jacobs in his practice tapes section of the CD, I tried to follow along in the music for it. I have both the trumpet and trombone versions from the Arban's books and couldn't find where he started and also couldn't follow along most of the time. Does anyone know which edition he was using, or maybe where he was starting from in the Arban's version?

Is it possible that he was playing the Herbert L. Clarke version of the piece?

He is definitely playing the Clarke arrangement, not the Arban arrangement.

I knew it was not just me not being able to find where he started. I need to search for that one, I like that arrangement. Thanks.
