American Salute Question

In the tuba part for American Salute by Morton Gould (BFOM00013), Key of F, measure 51 ends with 3 sixteenth notes: B, B#, C. Isn't a B# = C? How is this played? Play C twice? Why would it be written that way?
Any insight would be appreciated.

The three notes on 4 are all wrong. They actually are low G, G# and A to a Bb in the next bar.

It seems like the same mistake is in measure 67, the dotted half note is Db, should be Bb (see the piano part).
