American Salute Question

Post by halissen »

In the tuba part for American Salute by Morton Gould (BFOM00013), Key of F, measure 51 ends with 3 sixteenth notes: B, B#, C. Isn't a B# = C? How is this played? Play C twice? Why would it be written that way?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thank you

the elephant wrote:The three notes on 4 are all wrong. They actually are low G, G# and A to a Bb in the next bar.
This is what my part has...

It seems like the same mistake is in measure 67, the dotted half note is Db, should be Bb (see the piano part).
Thanks again to everyone.
