In the tuba part for American Salute by Morton Gould (BFOM00013), Key of F, measure 51 ends with 3 sixteenth notes: B, B#, C. Isn't a B# = C? How is this played? Play C twice? Why would it be written that way?
Any insight would be appreciated.

It seems like the same mistake is in measure 67, the dotted half note is Db, should be Bb (see the piano part).
